William “Bill” Ted Sandell, October 6, 1964-February 8, 2022.

William “Bill” Ted Sandell, age 57, of Dayton went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at his home.

Bill retired from the city of Dayton Wastewater Treatment Plant after 35 years. He enjoyed going to church, playing the guitar, singing, and working with children. Bill loved his wife, Alesia, and his family with all of his heart. He enjoyed working and making lifelong friends with the people he worked with. Bill was a loving and caring man and would go above and beyond to help people.

Bill was preceded in death by his nephew, T.J. VanGarren. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Alesia; daughter, Tiffany (Richard) Vuncannon of Rockingham, NC; parents, Pastor James and Mary Sandell, Sr; siblings; Mildred (Scott) McMillon, James (Lori) Sandell, Jr., Rosetta (Michael) Hyatt and Anna (Ronnie) Harmon, all of Dayton. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

The service will be at 2 PM, on Friday, February 11, 2022, in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home, with Rev Jerry Vanwinkle officiating. Interment will follow at Spivey Cemetery.

The Family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Thursday, February 10, 2022, and 12-2 PM on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.

For He has not turned away from the suffering of the one in pain or in trouble. He has not hidden His face from him. But He has heard his cry for help.
